This website was made for Janice's Fall 2021 Core: Interaction class for p4 Tour. For my p4 Tour, I wanted to take my dorm (my chosen offline site) and present it as a museum. I copied the Met's website and studied the code using the inspect tool, simplifying it for my project so I could present my things as "art pieces" and my room as a "museum."
The p4 Tour project description is as follows:
"In this project, create an interactive tour to bring an offline site online. Use your own visual strategy to represent the site, and use your own narrative to guide the audience though this space. Imagine how the users can experience it, and so that determines the navigation system. The tour should at lease have no less than 3 different scenes. If the tour is linear, how the scenes change through time? If it’s non-linear, how one scene relates to another?"
This project was inspired by Rosa McElheny's Tour.
This site was based off of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's website. The Met is a famous museum in New York City that holds over 5,000 years worth of art from around the world, and is a popular tourist attraction. More can be found on their actual website.
